The Russian side says that is not a party to the conflict in the Donbas.
The Russian side in the Tripartite contact group refused to discuss in Minsk the 23 exchange of prisoners in Ukraine, Russians in Ukrainian political prisoners.
This was announced by the representative of Ukraine in the contact group Irina Gerashchenko after a meeting of the group on 30 may.

“The position of the Russians magical (literally): Russia is not a party to the conflict, that is why Minsk cannot discuss the liberation of Ukrainians in Russian prisons Russian and Ukrainian”, – she wrote in Facebook.
Gerashchenko said that the militants include these Russians in the lists on the exchange, because they “help to fight” and lived in the Donbass until 2014.
