The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted amendments to the state budget of Ukraine for the year 2018 that provides for additional allocation of 1.4 billion hryvnia in support of the coal industry of the country.

The funds will be spent for financing of the budgetary program “implementation of measures to ensure domestic production of coal products and further reform of the public sector coal industry”, namely: the acquisition of equipment for mines; equipment for tunnel faces; acquisition of fixed equipment; provision of payroll.

“This is a routine change history, because we see that the production at the state mines is more expensive than coal is on the market. Here, the issue of modernization and the modernization of the necessary funds. In order to receive these funds, it is necessary to bring the industry out of debt.
