The Verkhovna Rada adopted in first reading (taken as a basis) the draft law on strengthening control over the movement and stay in Ukraine of vehicles with foreign registration, the so – called “EuroBLECH“.
The draft law ”On amendments to the Customs code of Ukraine and certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding import of vehicles into the customs territory of Ukraine” (No. 8488) gained 256 votes out of the required minimum of 226.
Rada in the first reading approved the bill to reduce the tax on cars from Europe.
Recall that the bills have come under pressure from owners of “EuroBLECH”. They the third day of the block the government quarter. The protesters are demanding cancellation of the decision of the Cabinetin which police have access to the customs database, so you can check the legality of stay “EuroBLECH” in Ukraine. A second requirement is the adoption of the law on easing of customs clearance.
