The President signed the final law, which was necessary for its proper functioning.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the law “On amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On judicial system and status of judges”, which provides for the establishment of the organizational component of the creation of the anti-corruption court.

The law also provides for the operation and of the appeals chamber of the Supreme court anti-corruption, in particular that appellate review of cases against top corrupt officials will be carried out exclusively by the appeals chamber of the Supreme court anti-corruption.

“With the passage of this Law opened the way for the establishment and functioning of the Higher anti-corruption court, therefore, I appeal to the High qualifications Commission of judges with a request as soon as possible to hold competition and to the Ministry of foreign Affairs as soon as possible to request our international partners regarding the delegation of representatives of the public Council of international experts. I also appeal to all decent lawyers – participate in the contest. From your position of principle will depend on the speed and efficiency of the fight against corruption in Ukraine”, – said Poroshenko.
