Russia refused the convicted Crimean Tatar the Ferat Sayfullaeva transferring him to the mainland of Ukraine.
This was reported by his lawyer Eden Semelai.
“Ferat sent a copy of the letter from the Ministry of justice of Russia, which he refused to transfer it to Ukraine, Recalling the Convention on the transfer of sentenced persons of 1983. However, taking out the Crimean Tatars from the Crimea, to be tried in military courts, no one is guided by the conventions, resolutions and international agreements”, – the lawyer wrote on his page in Facebook.
